Helen
M. Wronski, a Parsippany resident, has been
the Chief Executive Officer of Morris Area
Girl Scout Council since January 2002. Formerly
of Wisconsin and San Antonio, Texas, Wronski
has more than 30 years of executive-level
management experience working for not-for-profit
and for-profit organizations. She worked as
a regional field director of the Chicago hub
of YWCA’s National Headquarters for
three years, lead fifty-nine community associations,
two foundations and two campus YWCAs in six
states. Between 1976 and 1998, she was executive
director of four YWCAs in Texas, Illinois,
Arizona and Wisconsin. From 1984 to 1990,
she also worked as an independent business
consultant and a chief executive officer in
several companies in Wisconsin and Oregon.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in education
from Alverno College in Milwaukee and completed
postgraduate work to earn her certification
to teach K-12 in adaptive education. She completed
an executive education program at New School
University in New York and attended numerous
professional courses and seminars including
the fund development program at Indiana State
University School of Fundraising. Wronski
has been a guest speaker for the Search Institute
addressing the topic of mobilizing communities
to build strong assets in youth.

LEIGH
LINDJORD WOHLFARTH
Leigh
Lindjord Wohlfarth has been the Council President
of Morris Area Girl Scout since April 2003
and has been a member of the MAGSC Board of
Directors since 1999. Wohlfarth also was a
volunteer for the council as a troop leader
for her daughter’s troop. She currently
works as the manager of business development
in the corporate headquarters of Edwards and
Kelcey, an engineering, design, planning and
construction management firm headquartered
in Morristown. In addition to Morris Area
Girl Scout Council, Wohlfarth has been active
in the community as a member of the United
Way of Morris County Board of Directors and
Executive Committee and the Morris County
Chamber of Commerce, where she served as the
program director and executive director of
Leadership Morris, a community education program.
She also served on the Board of Education
for the Morris School District, including
two years as vice president.
