INCENTIVES

DEAR GIRL SCOUT FAMILY,

This year’s Cookie Theme “STEP IT UP” stresses the importance for girls to lead a healthy, happy and balanced lifestyle. The “STEP IT UP” cookie program suggests girls challenge themselves to go that extra mile and increase their cookie sales from last year. When you “STEP IT UP” and put all your energy and enthusiasm into your actions, you’re sure to get awesome results.
This year’s sale starts at 4 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2007.

The cookie sale program is a girl/adult partnership. Every parent is asked to become involved. Parents are asked to attend their Girl Scout’s Troop Cookie Meeting and to read all the cookie materials their Girl Scout brings home. Parents are encouraged to reinforce what the girls have learned in the troop setting. The life skills of safety, goal setting, communication, responsibility, courtesy and money management will be a strong foundation for their entire life. The “STEP IT UP” program materials encourage girls to lead active, healthy lives and make physical activities a fun part of their daily routine. So girls, “STEP IT UP” and put your goals in motion! Make that extra effort to reach out to more customers than last year and have a fantastic cookie sale program.

Every registered Girl Scout must give her Leader a signed guardian/parent permission slip before she is allowed to receive her girl order card. Remember:
