Girl Scout Silver Award

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest honor a girl ages 11-14 can receive in Girl Scouting and recognizes her accomplishments in Girl Scouting and community activities. The Girl Scout Silver Award focuses on her work to improve her life and the lives of others.

Girls must complete four requirements that help them build skills, explore careers, gain leadership skills and make a commitment to self-improvement before beginning the Girl Scout Silver Award Project. It can be done individually or as a group. If done with a group, a girl must be responsible for a specific part of the project and evaluate her contribution to the project and the group.
