Where
Girls 11-17 Become, Belong, Believe and
Build
STUDIO 2B is the way girls 11-17 participate
in Girl Scouting. Girls continue doing
the activities they have always loved
— camping, to community service,
interest projects, to earning the Girl
Scout Gold Award.
STUDIO 2B gives girls options with
a "by girls, for girls" approach.
Girls can choose their own group name,
such as Cadette, Senior, or their own
special name — to express their
interests and personalities. Girls can
participate through groups, troops,
special events at the council level,
destinations in the United States and
abroad and online.
Girls can choose from a variety of
resources, including the STUDIO 2B inserts
and binder, STUDIO 2B Focus and Collections
series, Girl Scout handbooks, and Interest
Projects for Girls 11-17. Girls also
can choose the awards they wish to earn,
including Interest Project awards, participation
patches, STUDIO 2B charms and leadership
awards, such as the Girl Scout Silver
and Girl Scout Gold Awards, Leader-in-Training
and Counselor-in-Training.
The activities that girls work on in
STUDIO 2B, are based upon the four program
goals of Girl Scouting, known as the
"4Bs."
The 4Bs are what make STUDIO 2B the
place for girls to become, belong, believe
and build. Together, girls learn to:
BECOME: Celebrate yourself today and
become your best self in the future.
BELONG: Be part of a group where you
have fun, relate to others with respect,
and develop lasting friendships.
BELIEVE: Develop your ideas and voice
what's important to you.
BUILD: Take action on what you care
about and make a difference.
Girls can also connect to other Girl
Scouts through www.studio2b.org.
