The paperwork, the meetings, the girl planning, the ideas for fun events….. While rewarding, being a volunteer can take a lot of effort, and every now and then it is important to recharge, revamp and get inspired.

To get girls excited about learning and trying new things, it is important for Girl Scout Volunteers to have opportunities do so themselves. This event will help do just that! Come learn something new and be a part of the production at Volunteer Getaway 2006. Come to Hollywood for a little relaxation, inspiration and fun!

You Can Do It! was the vision of Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas, a heroine of United Flight 93 on September 11th, a former Girl Scout, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Lauren’s dream was to create the ultimate self-empowering resource for women. She had noticed that many of her female friends, too busy with family and work obligations, often put off pursuing their own passions.

Fulfilling their sister’s dream, Dara Catuzzi Near and Vaughn Catuzzi Lohec completed Lauren’s book following her death.
